My wife and I both hunt with the 7mm-08, we have identical Rem 700 SPS Buckmasters with 24" barrels. Both shoot sub half MOA with the 139gr SST and with the 120gr Balliatic Tip. - 41.0gr of IMR-4064 with the 139gr SST, WLR primers. Apr 7, 2018 · Varget and 140 grain Accubonds was around 2750fps with good accuracy. RL16 was better than Varget with 140 grain Accubonds in my rifle at 2800fps. Although, Big Game was the best with the 140 grain Partitions getting around 2850fps. I found a load with Varget and 120 grain NBT, but only with magnum primers for 3000fps.

Feb 11, 2020 · Rem 700 7mm-08. I own and load for my Rem700 7mm-08. I prefer 42 gr H4895 with 140 gr Nosler Accubonds and/or Partition and gotten devastating results on south LA whitetail. The Accubond load shoots 1” groups @ 100 yds and drop 2.5” at 200 yds. I’ve used 41 gr of Varget with similar results.
